For almost 50 years, Blue Ridge Community Health Services has served those most in need in Henderson County, NC and surrounding areas. In July 2009, Blue Ridge’s main building (which was a renovated farmhouse) had to be demolished for safety and health reasons.

The 27,000 sq. ft., fully-modern facility designed to replace it will allow a full array of integrated services under one roof…a true medical home. Blue Ridge will be able to better care for the 17,000 patients we currently serve plus a full 25 percent more.

The projected total cost for this forward-looking, care-efficient & cost-efficient facility is $7 million. Scheduled for completion in fall 2011, Blue Ridge is counting on community support to fund this essential project. We have raised almost $6.4 million to date.
